1. Overview

Shorts Auto-Advance ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that automatically advances YouTube Shorts videos and optionally displays affiliate product cards. This policy explains what information is accessed and how it is used.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal identification information (name, email, etc.)
• Browsing history or YouTube watch history
• YouTube account information
• Device identifiers or IP addresses
• Any analytics or usage telemetry

3. Local Settings Storage

The Extension saves the following preferences using Chrome's built-in sync storage (chrome.storage.sync). This data is stored locally in your Chrome profile and optionally synced across your signed-in Chrome devices by Google:

• autoAdvance – whether auto-advance is enabled
• delayMs – transition delay in milliseconds
• affiliateEnabled – whether affiliate cards are enabled

No settings data is sent to our servers.

4. Affiliate Product Cards

When the affiliate feature is enabled, the Extension periodically fetches a list of recommended products from our server:

This request does not include any personal data or user identifiers. The server returns a JSON list of product information (title, price, image, affiliate URL). Product data is cached locally in memory for up to 5 minutes to minimize server requests.

• scripting / activeTab – to inject the auto-advance script into YouTube Shorts tabs
• tabs – to reload the current tab when you click "Connect & Reload"

7. Third-Party Services

Product data is sourced from Coupang via the Coupang Open API. Coupang's own privacy policy applies to any interactions on the Coupang platform.

8. Children's Privacy

This Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

2. 수집하지 않는 정보

확장프로그램은 다음 정보를 수집, 저장, 전송하지 않습니다:

3. 로컬 설정 저장

4. 제휴 상품 카드

제휴 기능이 활성화된 경우, 확장프로그램은 당사 서버에서 추천 상품 목록을 주기적으로 가져옵니다:

이 요청에는 개인 정보나 사용자 식별자가 포함되지 않습니다. 서버는 상품 정보(제목, 가격, 이미지, 제휴 URL)가 담긴 JSON을 반환합니다. 서버 요청을 최소화하기 위해 상품 데이터는 메모리에 최대 5분간 캐시됩니다.

상품 데이터는 쿠팡 Open API를 통해 제공됩니다. 쿠팡 플랫폼에서의 모든 활동에는 쿠팡의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.

8. 아동 개인정보 보호

본 확장프로그램은 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동으로부터 어떠한 정보도 수집하지 않습니다.

9. 방침 변경

본 개인정보처리방침은 필요에 따라 업데이트될 수 있습니다. 변경 사항은 수정 날짜와 함께 이 페이지에 반영됩니다. 변경 후 확장프로그램을 계속 사용하면 변경된 방침에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.
